About Graphē

Hi there! My name is Rijo Geevarghese. I am a priest in Indian Orthodox Church.

Welcome to Project Graphē.

Art speaks and Project Graphē thrives to explore and revitalize the Aesthetics within Christian traditions. Through this blog, I will be sharing my works and thoughts on aesthetics, theology and spirituality.

My works are more inclined towards Orthodox Iconography. I tend to keep the art simple with more natural elements in it.

My philosophy on Aesthetics is deeply influenced by Indo-Semitic tradition, especially the writings of St Ephrem the Syrian and Liturgical tradition followed in India. And when it accompanies the essence of Indian artforms, the scope of new creation enhances.

I use this website as a repository for my works and to share thoughts on Art and Theology.
